About The Grants-
Since 1991 the Moneysaver has awarded 109 grants to Cities, Service Groups, and or Non-Profit Organizations in the Moneysavers distribution area. Recognizing that our success over the last 3 decades is a result of the support of our readers, the Moneysavers Community Appreciation Grants are our way of giving something back to the community.

Applications-
Appreciation Grant applications are available for 2008.This year a grant not exceeding $1000 will be awarded. Several smaller grants may be awarded. Non-profit organizations or government agencies are eligible to apply for seed money to fund projects that improve "the quality of life" for the citizens of their community.

Awards Process-
Deadline for the grant applications is March 31, 2008.

A regional panel of judges will select successful applicants. The judges may elect to divide the grant among two or more applicants.

Grants will be announced in May, 2008.
