Wolf Education and Research Center

The Wolf Education and Research Center is located 40 miles south of Lewiston, Idaho on US Highway 95 outside Winchester, Idaho. It is a 501 c 3 non-profit organization with a mission of public education and scientific research on the gray wolf and its Northern Rocky Mountain habitat. The visitors’ center includes displays and information about the Sawtooth Pack and wolves in the wild. Guides are available to lead visitors to the 20 acre enclosure where the pack can be viewed.

Summer hours are 9 am to 5 pm Tuesday thru Saturday and Sunday 9 am to Noon.
