Clearwater and Snake River National Trail
Connects parks, historic sites and natural attractions along the
Snake and Clearwater Rivers. It was designated a National Recreation Trail by
the Department of Interior in 1988. The 16-mile wheelchair accessible
trail is the result of cooperative efforts by city, county, state and
federal agencies. The Trail is one of the many facilities constructed
by the US Army Corps of Engineers on Lower Granite Lake which was
created by Lower Granite Lock and Dam.
