Winchester Lake State Park
Located one mile south of U.S. Hwy. 95 near Winchester, Idaho, 33 miles south of Lewiston. The park is over 500 acres and contains Winchester Lake, 100 acres, which was once a pond for Winchester Lumber Mill. Summer Activities: Fishing, hiking, biking, swimming, boating (small boats, non-gas engines only), wildlife watching. Movie Amphitheater. Winter Activities: Cross country skiing, ice fishing, sledding, ice skating, wildlife watching. Facilities: 75 camp sites 49 have full hook up except sewer, rest rooms, showers, RV dump, 2 yurts – Canvas covered dwellings. Picnic tables all around the park for day use.
